STÜBER SYSTEMS agrees joint venture with Flemart Systems

Berlin, 12.07.2010 - STÜBER SYSTEMS has announced a joint venture with its long-standing IT partner of many years, Flemart Systems. The joint venture will go under the name of “Confire Media” and will make STÜBER SYSTEMS’ range of digital signage complete solutions available in CIS states and for the Russian-speaking market. 
Flemart Systems, which is based in Minsk (Belarus), has been a leading provider of client-specific IT services and software development since 2004. Berlin-based STÜBER SYSTEMS is Germany’s leading provider of school management software, providing digital signage complete solutions to schools and companies. 
The Confire Media digital signage solution consists of two components - hardware and software. The Confire Blackboard software enables fast and simple publication of digital content in the form of images, Full HD videos, text, PDFs, Flash or newsfeeds. A distinguishing feature is its user-friendliness and freedom, enabling users to define as many screen sections as they desire in the layout. Confire Blackboard is designed to cater for all professional requirements.
The corresponding hardware comprises premium-quality LCD displays with screen sizes of 40 inches or above and an integrated, fanless Windows PC. Steles are also available from Confire Media. These have a timeless design comprising an imposing flush-edged, full-glass front,  allowing them to blend harmoniously into all environments and are particularly useful for displaying content for presentation purposes in a company or institution. The hardware consists of high-quality industrial components and is designed for 24-hour operation while the public displays can be used in a wide variety of areas - as mediums of information or communication in schools, at trade fairs, airports or train stations, in supermarkets, retail outlets and at points of sale or information.
Particularly in advertising, digital signage solutions are become increasingly important since they enable content to be updated quickly and flexibly. Publication of advertising messages can be more dynamic, geared better to target groups and time-controlled, with moving images and interactive elements having a greater impact on relevant target groups than classic print advertising. Growth rates of more than 20% in exterior advertising demonstrate the role digital signage will play in this segment in the future -   the market research company ABI Research is forecasting a global investment volume of more than 1 billion US dollars for 2010.
The Confire Media solution is already in use in advertising, with Confire Steles having been erected in several supermarkets for companies to advertise their products and services on. The digital content is published quickly via a network or 3G and can thereafter be updated on a daily basis. The growing acceptance of digital signage solutions among clients in advertising is further evidence that the technology has now become an indispensable part of day-to-day global communication.

TIBO is international Trade Fair and Congress - Telecom Info Bank Office. It is organized by initiative of Ministry of Communications and Informatization of Republic of Belarus since 1994. Digital signage, also called dynamic signage, is a specialized form of slivercasting in which video or multimedia content is displayed in public places for informational or advertising purposes.
